Although the industry has evolved over the last 180 years, Christopher is proud to follow in the footsteps of his great, great, great grandfather and now runs a thriving family jewellers and pawnbroking business with 8 stores spanning across Yorkshire and the North West as part of the Brown & Gold Group.
The retail jewellery offering includes a wide range of jewellery at outstanding value from classic vintage and pre-owned pieces to contemporary modern and new designs. This includes a stunning selection of ladies and men’s jewellery that caters for all tastes and budgets.
The business also specialises in pre-owned luxury Swiss watches such as Rolex, Cartier, Omega and Breitling. All our luxury watches are fully reconditioned and serviced by trained Rolex and prestigious watch engineers and each is sold with a free 2 year warranty to give you complete piece of mind.
Pawnbroking and Financial Services still remain an important part of the business today. Fully regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, the business offers short term personal and business loans on jewellery, gold and prestigious watches. Other services include our competitive foreign exchange bureau, gold buying service and we also offer buy-backs on electricals and smart phones at some of the stores. The business has a highly regarded reputation of honesty and integrity and we ensure this runs true with every service we provide.
