The Rolex Datejust was created in 1945 for the 40th anniversary of Rolex and is instantly recognisable. Its sophistication and style embody the Rolex brand and upon its release, it was immediately accepted and worn by some of the greats such as Martin Luther King. The Datejust was the first of Rolex watches to be accompanied by a waterproof case and is available in a range of sizes from 26mm to 41mm meaning you are guaranteed to find one to suit your wrist.

The Rolex Datejust was the first self-winding watch and has gone on to become one of the world’s most recognisable watches. The Datejust also features a calendar that displays the date, an innovation that has gone on to be extremely popular. In 1953 the Cyclops lens was added. The cyclops magnifies the date making it easier to read.
